Dr. Christina Skarpalezos
Originally from Fernandina Beach, FL, Dr. Christina Skarpalezos attended Florida State University where she earned her bachelor of science degree in Human Physiology and Exercise Science. Her passion for exclusive patient care and medicine led her to pursue dental school where she attended Medical College of Georgia, obtaining her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, she moved back to the coast where she worked as the sole practitioner in a dental office in the Savannah area. She has now moved to the low country and is excited to establish long term residency here with us!
In the following years of practice, Dr. Skarpalezos has continued to expand her clinical expertise, attending continued education courses to include Invisalign, Botox Therapy, CAD/CAM Dentistry, Surgical Techniques, Pediatric Dentistry, Implant Design and more. Dr. Skarpalezos is passionate and dedicated to continue to expand her ability in order to best serve the needs of her patients. She is a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, South Carolina Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and the Southeastern District Dental Society.
Dr. Skarpalezos’ background and training has had such a positive impact on how she delivers personalized treatment to her patients. She feels right at home here with Dr. Gregory’s standards of care and drive for excellence. She takes great joy in comforting even the most anxious of dental patients with a caring demeanor and extreme attention to detail in her work. She strives to educate every single patient, providing individualized treatment options while helping them to understand their dental needs.
Also from Northeast Florida, Dr. Skarpalezos’ fiancé, Eric, is a firefighter here in Charleston. They met in the Savannah area and instantly connected over their love for animals! They are thrilled to now reside in Mount Pleasant with their 4 dogs, and are getting married this April on Isle of Palms! They aspire to have a strong involvement in our community and enjoy watching football (Go Noles), cooking, and staying active around the low country.
